Hmmmm, what have we been doing the last few weeks? Feels like Big Bear was ages ago, so I checked the camera and came up with a few new things.
Rock Climbing Adventures
John and Jack went to the Red Rock Climbing Wall a few weekends ago. Jack had a great time. Was a little hesitant in the beginning, but got the hang of it pretty quickly. There were some other kids climbing there, so he wanted to keep up. He said he "went pretty high, but not ALL the way to the top!
Park Days
With this great weather, we have been able to get to the park a few times. Alone, and with friends. This is Claire with her friend, Liv, and they have a great time together playing babies, and combing each other's hair. Liv CUT her own hair one day. It was traumatic for my friend, Ashley, but she got her into a salon and I think her hair is adorable now!!
Oh, and don't mind Claire's groovy clothes. There is a shirt that is supposed to go over the shirt and pants, but she insisted on taking it off, leaving her with a tight shirt and hot pants....and new pink Crocs that she sleeps in, too.
A Ballerina on a Bike...Claire has been trying to learn how to pedal by herself. We've made some trips around the block with me pushing from behind. But a couple of days ago, I took off the training pole and she got the hang of the pedals making their way ALL the way around.
Maybe it was "tutu power" that day.

C'mon- there's nothin' better than a pink pair of rubber slippers that weigh as much as one marshmellow! Crocs (for kids) rock!!
I love your daughter in her tutu! oh yes I'm diggin the pink crocs too!
That's funny that her bike has a seat belt. I think she's at such a cute age!
Seeing those pictures makes me want to try that rock climbing place. Climbing the wall at Gameworks is fun too if you like all the tourist watching you.
Clair seems to love being in her cute little tutus! How fun to be a ballerina riding her bike! Ahh to be a kid again :).
You gotta love a ballerina riding a bike! Meantime, the rock wall looks like tons of fun! Wish we'd done that when we were there!
