"Over the dam and down 1-40 to Albuquerque we go!" We spent time with John's sister, her family, and his mom for Thanksgiving. Had a great time, and even better food. I'd love a plate of leftovers about now. It was nice to see everyone, and get to spend some time playing games, eating food, going to the casino (yes, I know, we are from Vegas, and hit the Indian Casinos in NM. No better luck than we have here, either.)
We started our visit by celebrating Mimi's (John's mom) b'day. Happy birthday with pizza from Dion's, complete with green chilis, and an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. Here are Patrick, Jack and Max, anxiously awaiting the cutting of the cake.

Kids table, with a little bribe from Aunt Laura. Eat your turkey dinner, and you can have a Sees candy afterwards. It worked for my kids...sort of.
We shopped on Black Friday, and then Claire came down with the same FUNK that Jack had the week before. So we packed up a day early, and headed for Flagstaff so that we could get at least half way home. Ran into some snow there, and then finally made it home Sunday. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, too. We are thankful for family, friends and good health!

Glad you had a fun trip! I have never been to an Indian Reservation casino... we used to go to the horse races in Arizona. You should it... it's fun.
